Arctic air is due to move in this weekend and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued its first yellow cold weather alert this year for the North East, the North West, Yorkshire and The Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands.

Communities in Sheffield and Burnley will have access to new local energy action teams to help make their homes more energy efficient, through fuel poverty charity National Energy Action’s new pilot project.

In response to today’s Autumn Budget, National Energy Action Chief Executive Adam Scorer says, ‘This Budget will not lessen the impact of unaffordable energy bills and record levels of energy debt this winter.’
