Support with your water and energy supply

We all need a helping hand sometimes

As a young carer, you can get support for you and your family from:

The electricity distribution network that gets the electricity to your house.

The gas distribution network that gets the gas to your house.

The water company that look after the water supply to your home.

The energy supplier who you pay for the gas and/or electricity you use at home (this is the supplier who sends your bills).

Sometimes, signing up with one of these will allow your details to be added for all the others as well.

Some times you will have to sign up separately for each one.

As a young carer, you can register as a ‘Young Adult Householder’ on the online checklist. Or you can use any other situation that applies.
