Keeping afloat with your water supply

A bathroom tap runs about 6 litres of water a minute

Dentists tell us we should brush our teeth for 2 minutes

Leaving the tap running for 2 mins could use a good 12 litres of water

Turning the tap OFF while brushing means we can SAVE about 11 litres of our water use! (We do need to use a bit of water at the start and finish of brushing!)

And don’t forget, we brush our teeth twice a day – so we can stop wasting 22 litres of water a day!
