National Energy Action Annual Conference 2025 Bursary Scheme, sponsored by Octopus Energy
National Energy Action’s Annual Conference and Exhibition provides a national forum in which to debate key issues relating to domestic energy efficiency and fuel poverty to inform future policy and practice. This year the conference will be held at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool from Monday 27 January to Wednesday 29 January.
The conference has consistently attracted around 300 participants from across government, the energy industry, health sector, local authorities, housing associations, and other not-for-profit agencies.
How to apply for conference bursary, sponsored by Octopus Energy
Thanks to funding from Octopus Energy, we are able to offer a number of bursaries that will cover attendance, accommodation and travel, to people working to tackle fuel poverty and improve energy efficiency within local authorities, charities, and other not-for-profit and statutory organisations based in the UK.
As well as access to conference sessions and the exhibition the offer will also include:
- Evening buffet and drinks reception on Monday 27 January
- Lunch and dinner on Tuesday 28 January
- Lunch on Wednesday 29 January
- Up to two nights’ accommodation, including breakfast
- Return train travel (standard class)
Accommodation will be arranged by National Energy Action. We would ask successful applicants to arrange their own travel and claim it back after conference, however if this would be a barrier to attending, we will be able to do arrange this too.
Please note that an offer may be revoked if you do not provide all details required within 10 working days after being notified of a successful application.
To apply, please complete the online form by 12 noon on Friday 29 November. We will assess each application and make a judgement based on relevance and need. We will contact you by 12 noon on Friday 6 December if you are successful.
This offer is to enable attendance from those agencies which would not usually be able to pay to attend conference. Please do not apply if your employer would be willing to cover these costs.
