What is a Donor Advised Fund?
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account that enables donors to contribute assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend gifts to charitable organisations of their choice, while growing their investments.
A DAF can function in the same way as a personal charitable trust, but the administration is carried out by an umbrella charity, on behalf of the donor. You can recommend both one-off gifts and recurring gifts, you can also name charities as beneficiaries of the account, or a certain percentage of its fund, when you pass away.
Why support NEA with your DAF?
By supporting National Energy Action through your DAF, you can help provide life-changing support to people living in fuel poverty. Fuel poverty affects millions of people across the UK, leaving many struggling in cold, unsafe and unhealthy homes. We want to change that, but we can’t do it alone. With your support, you can help us create a brighter future where no one experiences fuel poverty.
